Pictures from our Events Veterans Day Ceremony, November 7, 2009 HVVA President Ken Baker and Keynote Speaker Senator Robert Menendez spoke at the ceremony During the ceremony, a 21-gun salute was conducted by the Golf Battery 3/14 Battalion, USMC 63rd Army Band Concert and Fireworks Event, June 2009 Over 500 residents attended the Army Band and Fireworks event at Alliger Park. Memorial Day Ceremony, May 2009 Mercer County Executive Brian Hughes and Keynote speaker BG John Nunn addressed the crowd. A fly-over featuring T-28 Navy aircrafts concluded the ceremony. This was the first scheduled fly-over at a Hopewell Township event. Veterans Day Ceremony, November 8, 2008 Despite inclement weather, over 200 residents observed the Veterans Day ceremony. Memorial Day Ceremony, May 2008 The Memorial Day ceremony featured the dedication of memorial bricks, a military salute, benediction, guest remarks, and a barbecue. Over 300 residents attended the ceremony that paid tribute to our country’s veterans. At the ceremony, American Legion Post 339 donated an eagle statuary to the organization for the park.
