Committee Members of the Hopewell Valley Veterans Association held their first planning meeting for the group’s Memorial Day ceremony, which will commence on May 24th at 10 a.m. at Alliger Park, Washington Crossing- Pennington Road, adjoining the Hopewell Township Municipal Complex. The Memorial Day celebration will recognize Valley veterans and include military displays, a rifle salute, benediction and an unveiling of engraved bricks donated in honor of veterans. The association is raising funds for constructing and maintaining a permanent Veterans’ Memorial.
