Chamber to honor Hopewell Valley Veterans Association

The Hopewell Valley Chapter of the Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce will present its Outstanding Community Service Award to the Hopewell Valley Veterans Association, during its Community Service Appreciation Reception and Evening Networking Event on June 15 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The reception will be at the Hopewell Valley Golf Club, 114 Pennington-Hopewell Road (Route 654), Hopewell Township.

Previous recipients of the Outstanding Community Award include the Valley’s volunteer fire departments and rescue squads in 2003; the Hopewell Valley Municipal Alliance in 2004 and the Hopewell Valley YMCA in 2005; the Rothwell Family/Pennington Market in 2006; The Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space and The Accomplishments of Ted Stiles in 2007; Ruth Luse and the Hopewell Valley News in 2008; and FISH (Friends in Service Here) in 2009.

The reception is sponsored by Hopewell Valley Community Bank, Hopewell Physical Therapy, Capital Health and Eagle Building Maintenance and Janitorial.
